For some, compulsive sexual behaviors are so ingrained that a higher level of treatment is necessary to break the cycle of acting out. Many have found that a highly-focused treatment experience can effectively boost or advance the recovery process.
The Recovery Start Kit offers a comprehensive, disciplined 130-day program designed to approximate the benefits and learning gained through a traditional inpatient program of treatment without having to leave home. It can be purchased and is completed in conjunction with regular outpatient therapy. Daily tasks, including education and reflection, are part of the curriculum.
Inpatient Treatment Centers It is not uncommon for addicted persons to require a complete separation from their normal routines to begin healing and achieve lasting sobriety. We have relationships with several inpatient facilities offering a 24-hour structure for recovery with stays lasting from two weeks to three months. These centers offer humane, holistic treatment modalities for body, mind and spirit. They specialize in addressing the hidden traumas that foster addictive behavior. Treatment involves spouses, partners and family members, if possible.During our assessment, we will determine whether inpatient treatment would be helpful or not. Our counselors are always open to discussing the potential benefits of extended stay for recovery.
Fast-Start Your Recovery We want you to face your addiction in the open, non-judgmental environment we will provide in this recovery weekend. Whether you are just beginning the recovery journey or coming in for a reboot, we value your willingness to begin healing for yourself and, by extension, your loved ones and those around you.
In addition to gaining knowledge and skill, we want you to realize that you are not alone in your struggle. Henri Nouwen wrote that “one day you realize that your pain is the pain.” Addicts share past hurt, loneliness, and deep shame for their actions. The best healing begins in a space where we are accepted by other men who share the pain we all sought to escape through addiction.
We have designed this workshop to be conducive to a full awareness of the dangers and destruction created by overt and hidden addiction. We want you to leave with a sense of your own value, hope for your future, a healthy awareness of your strengths and needs, and a solid set of valuable theory and practices. What you get out of this workshop will depend on your willingness to be open and honest with yourself. We hope you will choose to take full advantage of this opportunity.
