Rev. David W. Rennard, LCSW, CSAT-S David is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and an Ordained Minister of the United Church of Christ. He is certified as a Sexual Addictions Therapist and Supervisor through the International Institute for Trauma and Addictions Professionals. He is also certified as a Distance Counselor (Telehealth). David holds degrees and certificates from the University of Washington, Yale University, Loyola University of Chicago, and the Pastoral Psychotherapy Training Institute. His clinical interests include the treatment of trauma and its aftermath, sexual compulsivity and addiction, internet addiction, and the integration of spirituality into psychotherapy. David has expertise in the treatment of Anxiety and Depressive Disorders, Attachment Issues and Codependency, Recovery from Trauma and Abuse, Relationship Difficulties, Grief and Loss, Men’s Issues, and Issues related to Faith and Spirituality. David’s approach to his clients is gentle, thoughtful, and open. Initially working in the child welfare field, David treated many young victims of abuse and abandonment, sparking a lasting interest in the treatment of trauma and attachment issues.
