Danny Sourbis, LCPC, ASAT
Danny is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. He is currently a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Candidate with the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals. Danny has extensive experience working with a variety of mental health issues including post traumatic stress disorder, substance/chemical addictions, process addictions, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, anger management, adolescent issues, school avoidance, dual diagnoses, developmental/intellectual disabilities, and marital /couples/family conflict. He has worked in multiple settings, giving him a unique perspective and understanding of the treatment process, including detox hospitalizations, residential treatment, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, and private practice. He has worked with clients throughout the lifespan (3-80). Danny has an eclectic, client-centered approach, grounded in the belief that each client, couple, and family is unique. Danny’s theoretical orientations include Meta Frameworks (Internal Family Systems, Sequences, Developmental, Organizational, Multicultural, Gender), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and the 30 Task Model for Sex Addiction. Danny’s goal in therapy is to establish a safe, comfortable environment geared to foster strength, support, and healing. |
